Welcome to affordableart4all. A site bringing you
affordable original art. Commissioned by you, painted for you; your own unique
work of original art. We are two British artists who specialise in creating
original art of pets, houses, chateaux, other landmarks, or any feature of your
home - for example, a pretty old window or door. Although pet and house
portraits are our speciality, we can paint anything you desire - a flower, a
portrait of a friend, a member of your family - anything! An original painting
makes an ideal gift. We are currently living and working in France, but are
open to commissions from anywhere as we can produce quality original paintings

THE
ARTISTS
Frances
Evans began painting in acrylic twenty years ago, concentrating on this medium
in favour of watercolour which was her original passion. Painting in acrylic
inspired her with its bolder, brighter colours to create larger floral paintings
and pet portraits. In her acrylic gallery you can see examples of her floral
paintings as well as landscapes and paintings on various subjects.
Her pet
portrait page began as the result of a commission for a painting of George the
Border Collie, and since then she has received many commissions for pet
portraits, usually as gifts. A portrait of a favourite animal makes a unique,
original present.
As a
published illustrator Frances can create illustrations for your book or magazine
and draw pen and ink or create ink and wash paintings of your pet, family, house
or any other subject you desire.
After
selling his first painting fourteen years ago - a bright geometric acrylic with
a guitar motif - Ian Osborne decided to dedicate more time to his art. He
switched to watercolour after some months preferring its muted tones. Now
painting exclusively in watercolour, he paints many different subjects as you
can see in the watercolour gallery.
The house
portrait painting began as the result of a commission received a few years ago.
His love of painting buildings makes him ideally suited to this. You can see
some examples on the house portrait page.

creating a house portrait.

us a good digital photograph (or more than one) and after completion you will be
forwarded a sample scan of the artwork for your approval. We can paint to
whatever size you require and we can paint whatever you want. Browse through
the art galleries, choose your favoured medium, send us the photos detailing
your requirements and you will soon be the owner of a unique original painting
at an affordable price. ON PAPER - All paintings will be on good quality watercolour paper 300 gsm or higher and unframed. ON CANVAS - Paintings will be on deep-edged box canvas PRICES (can

The prices
quoted are for paintings to fit standard frame sizes available in continental
Europe. A 30x20 cm painting for
example, mounted with a 5 cm border at each edge, would fit a standard 40x30 cm
frame. This is the most common size requested for a commission. As standard
frame sizes differ in the UK and US, or if you intend to
have your painting professionally framed, your painting can be tailor-made to
suit your requirements. Shipping
cost will depend on the size of the painting and your location. For a 30x20 cm
painting on paper the cost to anywhere worldwide would not exceed 15
euros.

After
approval of your sample by e-mail, you will be sent an invoice incorporating a
link which will direct you to a secure payment site.
Your
completed painting will then be forwarded. Delivery time will depend on
location.
